The Southern Hemisphere DELTA conferences attract educators and researchers interested in improving tertiary mathematics and statistics education. Meanjin DELTA 2025 will be held in Brisbane, Australia, November 23-28, 2025. The 15th biennial DELTA hybrid conference on the Teaching and Learning of Undergraduate Mathematics and Statistics will be held at The University of Queensland (St Lucia campus), Brisbane.
We are delighted to announce our two keynote speakers: Clemency Montelle from the University of Canterbury and Jess Ellis Hagman from Colorado State University.

30 April 2025: NOW CLOSED Final date for full refereed papers in a special edition of the International Journal of Mathematical Education in Science and Technology, IJMEST (suggested limit: 6000 - 8000 words, excluding figures)
14 September 2025: NOW CLOSED Final date for submission of full papers for the Conference Proceedings (limit: 5000 words, excluding references). Late submissions unfortunately cannot be accepted.
28 September 2025: NOW CLOSED Final date for submission of abstracts for posters, workshops and abstract-only presentations.
24 October 2025: Early bird rate ends and final date for which presenters need to be registered for the conference in order for their paper/abstract to be included in the proceedings. Please note that this date is Australian Eastern Standard Time.
23 November 2025: Conference starts
Sunday 23 November - Welcome function at the Stock Exchange Hotel in Brisbane CBD (pm)
Monday 24 November - Conference opening and Day 1
Tuesday 25 November - Day 2 and conference dinner at Customs House (Brisbane CBD)
Wednesday 26 November - Excursion/Field Day. Use your free Go Card to explore south-east Queensland! Go to the Gold Coast by train and have a swim! Catch the bus to Lone Pine and see the koalas! Do a free walking tour of Brisbane!
Thursday 27 November - Day 3
Friday 28 November - Day 4 (half day), conference closing
Delegates will receive a Go Card (public transport card) with unlimited travel in South-East Queensland for the duration of the conference and the weekend after.

Meanjin DELTA will be held at The University of Queensland (UQ) St Lucia campus. From the CBD, UQ is a beautiful 30-minute CityCat (ferry) trip along the Brisbane River or a 20-minute bus ride. Your registration includes a Go Card which gives you free travel on public transport (excluding the AirTrain) for the duration of the conference and the weekend after. You could stay in the CBD or Southbank, or at an Airbnb between the city and UQ. Both the Welcome Function and Dinner will be held in the CBD.
